SANTANYÍ Santanyí is a town in the southeast of the island of Mallorca has a Mediterranean climate which means that there is a very good temperature throughout the year, it is limited by the municipalities of Ses Salines, Felanitx, and Campos, it is a town that is characterized by maintaining its rural essence, its Mallorcan tradition, its history, its culture and its special natural light and turquoise color of its waters. It has an approximate area of 125 km (square) and about 40 km are of coastline with spectacular coves, beaches, and one of the important and largest natural parks on the island, the Mondragó Natural Park, all of which makes it a space that attracts to many international artists. S’ALQUERIA BLANCA S’Alqueria Blanca, a small town located about 6km away, a town with a lot of charm and following the Mallorcan atmosphere. If you are thinking of a quieter place without a doubt S’Alqueria Blanca has a lot to offer you, in it we can find a primary school, pharmacy and small shops to satisfy your basic needs. It has a small sanctuary, called Consolació, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the southeast of the island. It also holds a small market every Tuesday morning, where we can buy seasonal vegetables and fruit and even a bag of clothes. CALONGE Calonge, located about 10 km away, is another small town with a Mallorcan atmosphere and very familiar, its offer is similar, with a primary school, pharmacy, small local shops and with its bars and restaurants always open where you can find everything you are looking for without having to move. The market is held on Thursday mornings. PORTO PETRO Porto Petro, located about 11km away, is a coastal town with a natural bay that is home to a small fishing port and a private Royal Nautical Club. Many tourists are attracted to this place, with a great tourist offer it is still a quiet and charming place. It has a great offer of cafes and restaurants but also meets basic needs with a pharmacy, hairdresser, some shops and two supermarkets. Its coves with crystalline waters and the Mondragó Natural Park, make Porto Petro a paradise. PORTO COLOM Porto Colom is a municipality and a town in the southeast of Mallorca under the administration of the city of Felanitx. The city is the largest natural port on the island. Due to its location and a large port, it is a popular place for local fishermen. CALA D`OR Cala D’or, located between Calonge and Porto Petro, 14 km from Santanyí, has a different offer, it is undoubtedly one of the most populated and tourist towns in the municipality, especially in summer. In it we can find a great seasonal tourist offer, restaurants of all kinds (many of them closed in low season), clothing stores, souvenirs, small supermarkets open in high season and a large Eroski supermarket open all year round. Also, if you are looking for a place for your children, Cala D’or can offer you a primary school, a library, and a well-equipped sports center. The coves of Cala D’or are wonderful and many of them have a restaurant on the beach that is mostly open in summer, you can find beautiful coves such as Cala Esmeralda, Cala Hierro, Cala Gran… CALA FIGUERA Cala Figuera a small charming town. Known for its ports, it was and is a fishing village where every day you can see the arrival of the fishing boats when they arrive at the port and land the fresh fish in the fish market, it is one of the only towns in Mallorca that has a Llonja in use. Thanks to these two ports you can enjoy a double experience, a traditional experience such as seeing the fishermen arrive and a more romantic experience that is walking through the old part of the Town, where you can see old houses and enjoy the views and the landscape. It has a great gastronomic offer, especially restaurants that offer fresh fish on their plates, many of them open mainly in high season, but you can also find restaurants open in low season. There are small supermarkets with basic products. CALA LLOMBARDS Cala Llombards, is a town located between the municipality of Santanyí and Ses Salines, characteristic for its homely and traditional atmosphere, in Es Llombards we can find restaurants open almost all year round and small shops, such as a bread oven where you can also buy other things. Es Llombards is known for its coves, one of the very popular on the island called Es Caló des Moro, it is an idyllic place where you can find a beach with crystalline turquoise blue water, and a small source of freshwater. Next to this cove is s’Almunia, a cove where you can find some fishermen`s houses where families currently reside in summer. Es Llombards is also known for its cove that bears the same name.
